Ace of Maids: Champions for Cancer Patients With Free Home Cleanings

Kennebunk, ME – August 9, 2023 – Ace of Maids, LLC has teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free house cleaning to cancer patients across the United States and Canada. Megan Tielinen, owner and founder of Ace of Maids, believes that extending a helping hand is a natural fit for their company’s values and what they love to do.

Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Ace of Maids supports two cancer patients homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in York County.

Started in 2015 with a small collection of homes, Ace of Maids now has over 200 clients who have mostly learned of the company through referrals. This list of satisfied clients now extends to include vacation rentals as well.
Ace of Maids operates as a green cleaning company, exclusively employing Norwex products, which they supply. The team ensures that each cleaner is not exposed to harmful chemicals throughout the day, upholding a commitment made when they joined the company. In line with this pledge, individual households are equipped with their own set of cloths, mop pads, and cleaning products, ensuring that nothing is used in a house prior to the scheduled cleaning.
“I believe the integrity of our company is based on the happiness and loyalty of our clientele,” said owner Megan Tielinen. “Female owned and operated, we have 10 wonderful cleaners on staff who take personal care of our clients’ homes. We usually work in teams of two, unless the space requires more or fewer cleaners. We also try to keep cleaners with the same clients each visit.”
