Bunzl Canada Brings Free Home Cleaning to Cancer Patients in Four Canadian Cities
Bunzl Canada was proud to celebrate 20 years of Cleaning for a Reason by supporting cancer patients across Canada with volunteer home cleaning services.
BURLINGTON, Ontario – November 2, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Bunzl Canada is proud to complete its 2026 Cleaning for a Reason, an ISSA Charities™ signature program that gives free home cleaning to people undergoing cancer treatment. This year, 25 volunteers from Bunzl Cleaning & Hygiene locations across Canada joined ISSA Canada and partners across the industry and hosted all four 2026 Canadian Volunteer Days in Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver and Montreal. Together, they helped provide complimentary home cleanings for 20 cancer patients and their families.
Twenty-five Bunzl Cleaning & Hygiene volunteers came together across Canada to make a meaningful difference through Cleaning for a Reason in 2026.
Cleaning for a Reason is celebrating 20 years of support in Canada. Since 2006, the program has helped 2,225 cancer patients across the country and donated more than $725,860 in cleaning services. Bunzl Canada is proud to have partnered with Cleaning for a Reason since 2024.
More Than a Clean Home
For someone going through cancer treatment, a clean home means one less thing to worry about. It gives patients and their families more time to focus on healing and on each other.
Cleaning for a Reason Volunteer Days brought teams together in four Canadian cities to support individuals and families affected by cancer.

Bunzl Canada’s support went beyond volunteering, by donating cleaning equipment and supplies teams needed to deliver professional-quality cleanings in patients’ homes. Bunzl Canada also hosted all four Volunteer Days, serving breakfast and lunch to volunteers at each event.
Together with industry partners, Bunzl Cleaning & Hygiene volunteers helped bring the Cleaning for a Reason mission to more communities across Canada.
