YOU’VE GOT MAIDS OF RHODE ISLAND JOINS A NONPROFIT
Woonsocket, Rhode Island – January 6, 2018 – You’ve Got Maids of Rhode Island is an eco-friendly residential cleaning franchise that has teamed up with Cleaning For A Reason, an international nonprofit serving women with cancer. The franchise is committed to using the cleaning products and systems that are healthy for their clients, their families, and the environment. You’ve Got Maids offers cleaning services ranging from deep cleanings to every day cleanings on a schedule that works for each client.
“I was very much drawn to Cleaning For A Reason because my aunt, Cheryl Vendetti, died of breast cancer in her 40s leaving behind a big loving family,” stated Laura Armstrong, owner of You’ve Got Maids of Rhode Island. “I saw first-hand how hard undergoing chemo treatments is on the patients. These women need to focus on their health, not on cleaning their homes. It is an honor to be able to give the gift of a clean home.”
You’ve Got Maids of Rhode Island has agreed to help women battling cancer by cleaning two homes per month for two consecutive months at no charge. The only requirement is that the homes be within the company’s existing service area of Woonsocket. For more information about this company, go to www.youvegotmaids.com.
In partnership with maid services throughout the United States and Canada, Cleaning For A Reason is celebrating 11 years of dedicated service for women battling cancer by Making A Difference One Home At A Time™. Together, these two forces offer free house cleaning to meet the needs of women, and since 2006, have donated more than $7 million in free services, helping more than 27,000 women with cancer. Based in Lewisville, TX, Cleaning For A Reason works with more than 1,200 professional cleaning companies and continues to grow and gain support.
