The Mop Ladies Mark Eight Years of Bringing Relief to Cancer Patients

York, PA – January 5, 2026 – For those battling cancer, even small household chores can feel overwhelming. Since 2018, The Mop Ladies Cleaning Service, LLC, a locally owned cleaning company has partnered with Cleaning for a Reason to support 49 cancer patients, providing donated professional cleaning services valued at $11,150.

Some of the patients The Mop Ladies serve are confined to their beds, while others have endured hair loss and extreme fatigue during treatment. “It’s incredibly moving work,” Russo said. “Our team often leaves cleanings in tears, touched by the courage and resilience of the families we help. It’s truly an honor to serve our community in York County in this way, and we are committed to continuing this work for as long as there are cancer patients who need support.”
The Mop Ladies Cleaning Service, LLC provides free cleanings to two cancer patients’ homes each month for two consecutive months, serving York County and surrounding areas. Through this partnership, the company helps families maintain comfort, dignity, and a healthier environment during a challenging time.
