Cleaning For A Reason® (https://cleaningforareason.org) is pleased to announce continued support from The American Cleaning Institute® (ACI – http://www.cleaninginstitute.org). This year, ACI has donated more than $28,800 to help Cleaning For A Reason® provide the gift of free home cleanings to women battling cancer all year long.

ACI has been supporting Cleaning For A Reason since 2008 when its Senior Vice President of Education, Nancy Bock, joined Cleaning For A Reason’s board.

“The American Cleaning Institute has done so much to help move our organization forward. Ernie Rosenberg [ACI’s President] and Nancy Bock have worked tirelessly to raise funds and awareness to ensure more women who are battling cancer receive the gift of a clean home,” said Cleaning For A Reason CEO & Founder Debbie Sardone. “Their commitment to our mission has meant so much to Cleaning For A Reason.”

Cleaning For A Reason will use the money toward programming. Cleaning For A Reason strives to aid women who are battling any type of cancer by teaming up with cleaning services across the U.S. and Canada. Employees of partner cleaning services are not asked to donate their time and are paid their regular wages. Since 2006, Cleaning For A Reason has provided the gift of a clean home to more than 14,000 women through a network of 1,085 cleaning services.

“The American Cleaning Institute is a proud supporter of Cleaning For A Reason and their work to sustain cleanliness for women undergoing treatment for cancer,” said Nancy Bock, ACI Senior Vice President, of Education. “A clean environment is especially important to women with cancer. That is why ACI has partnered up with this group to help educate the public about the vital link between health and hygiene. We are doing our part to help families sustain cleanliness when loved ones are undergoing treatment and we hope you will too.”
