LOCAL COMPANY MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Dearborn, MI – May 10, 2022 – Urban Cleaning Service, LLC has teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free house cleaning to cancer patients throughout the United States and Canada. Owners Michelle Reed and Mary Reed, mother and daughter duo, know first-hand that when someone has cancer, the whole family does too.
“My husband died of liver cancer on March 10, 2021,” said Michelle Reed. “Married for 30 years, we raised five beautiful children. Like other families, we experienced the anguish, uncertainty, and support that a cancer diagnosis brings. This partnership gives our company an even greater purpose and a chance to pay it forward. We understand how the toll of this horrible disease can create a gap in household chores. Our goal is to provide our professional cleaning services to families battling cancer during their time of need.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Urban Cleaning Service will support two cancer patients’ homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Wayne, Macomb, and Oakland Counties.
Said co-owner Mary Reed, “Our success is cleaning the mess. By doing what we do best, we want to help cancer families focus on health and quality time together.”
