Greenville, SC – August 22, 2024 – Two Maids of Greenville is proud to announce its recognition as one of the top Two Maids franchises by Cleaning for a Reason for serving the most cancer patients in 2023. This honor underscores the company’s commitment to community outreach and support for families battling cancer. Two Maids of Greenville, SC, donated cleanings valued at $3,480, serving 10 cancer patients in 2023.
Cleaning for a Reason is a nonprofit organization that provides free home cleaning services to cancer patients, helping to reduce stress and support those in need during a challenging time.
Dave Anger, the owner of Two Maids of Greenville, shares his motivation for this mission.

“Many of our clients have busy lives and need help with housekeeping chores. But when a family has cancer in their lives, that need is exponentially higher and often occurs without warning. Their time priorities shift to medical appointments, therapies, and rest. Our partnership with Cleaning for a Reason allows us to find folks in our community who could use a hand. We provide free home cleanings to individuals or families who have a sudden need to focus on the needs of the patient.” |
The personal connection to this cause is deeply rooted in Anger’s own experience. “My daughters and I lost my wife, their mom, to cancer in 2020, so our life’s mission is now and will always be to find cancer fighters in our community and offer whatever help we can provide.”
Two Maids of Greenville is dedicated to surpassing its achievements in 2024. Continued Angers, “At our national Two Maids franchise conference, Two Maids of Greenville, SC, was recognized as one of two Top Partners for most cancer patients served for all of 2023, an achievement we intend to surpass for 2024. Community outreach is a part of our mission statement, and Cleaning for a Reason plays an important role in that promise.”
Two Maids of Burleson, Texas, was also recognized as a Top Partner for supporting 10 cancer patients in 2023, donating cleanings valued at $4,486.
In partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Two Maids of Greenville commits to supporting cancer patients by offering free house cleanings for up to five households per month for two consecutive months. This ongoing service will benefit cancer patients residing in Greenville and the surrounding areas.
