NATIONAL CLEANING FOR A REASON WEEK, APRIL 18-24
West Hartford, CT – April 19 2020 – T.A.G. Team Cleaning, LLC has been donating cleaning services to local cancer patients for nine years through their partnership with nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason. Since 2011, T.A.G. Team Cleaning has supported a total of 30 cancer patients with a donated value of $10,055 in cleanings.
Owner Patty Belgrave wants to bring heightened awareness of the cause to the area during Cleaning for a Reason Week, April 18-24. The goal is to help more households battling any type of cancer to receive the gift of a clean home.
“When we learned about Cleaning for a Reason, we quickly got our staff involved and built on our company’s culture of giving back,” said Belgrave. “Over the years, cleaning for cancer patients has become the heart of our company. We have gained a profound respect for those undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. Our staff expresses their love and caring through these donated cleanings.”
Belgrave added, “During this coronavirus pandemic, it is important to clean for health reasons. Our staff is not only cleaning, but sanitizing and disinfecting. As an essential business, we are helping to make homes and businesses clean, healthy, and safe for our clients, especially the cancer patients we serve.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, T.A.G. Team Cleaning provides services for two cancer patients’ homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in the Greater Hartford areas.
