FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LOCAL COMPANY CLEANING DURING COVID-19
Parkersburg, WV – May 1, 2020 – SuperMaids has been donating cleaning services to local cancer patients for the past 10 years through their partnership with nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason. Since 2010, SuperMaids has supported a total of 57 cancer patients with a donated value of $29,791 in cleanings.
“This program is very close to my heart as I lost my sister, Bobette Runion, to breast cancer,” said owner Bob Runion. “We donate these cleanings as a way to give back to the community. SuperMaids was the first maid service in West Virginia to join Cleaning for a Reason in 2010.”
Wife and co-owner Sheryl Runion added, “SuperMaids follows CDC COVID-19 guidelines to keep our community safe. Our staff wears face masks and gloves; washes hands between tasks; usees EPA-approved disinfectants; and practices social distancing when cleaning.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, SuperMaids supports two cancer patients’ homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Wood County in West Virginia, and Washington County in Ohio.
