Strategic Cleaning by Anne Challanges Other Cleaning Services to Join

AMHERST, NY – When Stephanie States was diagnosed with breast cancer she quickly learned that her energy level would drop during chemotherapy treatments. Keeping a clean home would become a task, but she learned about a non-profit group called Cleaning for a Reason.
Cleaning for a Reason partners with companies that offer professional home cleaning services. The services are for women fighting any type of cancer.
Strategic Cleaning by Anne is a local company that joined Cleaning for a Reason. Owner Anne Minarchi offers four free home cleanings for women fighting cancer. While she is currently booked, she believes it is something all cleaning services should consider. “We’re doing something to give back to the community.”
States says the service has been wonderful in more ways than a person would imagine. “To have it (the house) shiny when the girls leave, you just feel good. It makes you feel better and that is important because you need to have good days,” she said.
