Organic Homes & Commercial Helps Cancer Patients With Cleaning Services

LOCAL CLEANING COMPANY MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Kissimee, FL – December 2, 2024 – Organic Homes & Commercial will soon celebrate its first anniversary of partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit dedicated to providing free home cleaning services to cancer patients. In 2024, Organic Homes & Commercial has supported 11 cancer patients, donating cleaning services valued at $6,380, in an effort to bring comfort and relief to those facing the challenges of cancer.
Shared owner Jessica Oquendo, “When I first learned about Cleaning for a Reason, I knew I had to join. We were actively looking for ways to support our community, and this initiative resonated deeply with me. Having lost my father to cancer, I understand firsthand the physical and emotional toll this disease takes on patients and their families. Free cleanings offer a powerful form of relief, giving patients one less thing to worry about, and allowing them to focus on healing. It’s an honor to provide this service, and I encourage others to join us in making a tangible difference in their lives.”
Through their ongoing partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Organic Homes & Commercial supports two cancer patients each month for two consecutive months, free of charge, in Orlando, Kissimmee, and Saint Cloud. Cancer patients can apply for free house cleaning at cleaningforareason.org/patients.
After receiving the gift of a clean home, the Sinanan family expressed their gratitude: “Thank you for what you did today. We are so grateful for your act of service and for making it a safe place for my dad to come home to.”
