Merry Maids of Wake County Donates Cleaning Services to Cancer Patients

Raleigh, NC – October 16, 2024 – Merry Maids of Wake County has partnered with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit dedicated to providing free house cleaning services to cancer patients throughout the United States and Canada. Owner Kara Trull knows all too well the challenges cancer patients and their families endure, and she is committed to using her business to help ease this difficult time.
Shared Trull, “My mother battled cancer in 2023-2024, and I witnessed firsthand the immense stress it placed on her and our family. Through that experience, I realized how even the smallest acts of kindness can make a huge difference. That’s why I decided to join Cleaning for a Reason, an organization dedicated to providing free home cleanings for cancer patients. By helping to ease their burdens, I hope to not only honor my mother’s journey but also bring comfort to other families facing similar challenges. Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Merry Maids of Wake County supports two cancer patients’ homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service available to cancer patients residing in Wake County.
