LOCAL RESIDENTIAL CLEANING SERVICE PARTNERS WITH A NON-PROFIT FOUNDATION TO SERVE WOMEN BATTLING CANCER
Fort Wayne, Indiana– December 5, 2012 – The Maids of Fort Wayne is announcing partnership with an International non-profit foundation, Cleaning For A Reason, benefitting women undergoing cancer treatments in their community. The Maids of Fort Wayne is looking to enhance the lives of women who are going through a difficult time by agreeing to clean two homes per month for four consecutive months, free of charge.
“We all have family or friends that have suffered from cancer; we want to give back to the community,” says owner Tammy Robertson.
Since 2006 Cleaning For A Reason has donated over 12,000 free cleanings to women battling cancer. The organization utilizes a network of over 1,000 residential cleaning services in the United States and Canada, which have donated over $3,000,000 worth of services.
