MaidPro of Camp Hill Brightening Up Homes for Cancer Patients

Camp Hill, PA – January 23, 2026 – Local cleaning franchise, MaidPro of Camp Hill has officially partnered with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit organization that provides free home cleaning services to cancer patients throughout the United States and Canada. This partnership allows MaidPro of Camp Hill to extend meaningful support to local individuals and families navigating the challenges of cancer treatment.
Owner Nichole Kambesis shared her deeply personal motivation behind joining the cause.
“Navigating cancer is overwhelming,” said Kambesis. “I lost my mom to breast cancer more than 30 years ago, and I remember the endless cycle of appointments—the doctor visits, the chemotherapy or radiation sessions, the tests upon tests. And then you come home and still have to cook, do laundry, clean, shop… it feels impossible. Helping cancer patients is close to my heart because I know exactly what that experience looks like. Giving a family the gift of a clean home during such a difficult time is something I feel honored to do.”
Through this partnership, MaidPro of Camp Hill will donate free home cleanings to two cancer patients each month, with each receiving two consecutive months of services. This support is available to patients living in Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg, Enola, Lemoyne, New Cumberland, and Harrisburg.
