LOCAL CANCER SURVIVOR AND BUSINESS OWNER PARTNERS WITH CLEANING FOR A REASON!
Wheatfield, NY– January 14, 2013- Maid Brigade of Wheatfield recently partnered with an International non-profit foundation, Cleaning For A Reason, benefitting women undergoing cancer treatments in their community.
This local business owner wants to provide these women the opportunity to enjoy all that upstate NY has to offer without the stress of cleaning their homes. As a cancer survivor, “I want to help other women who need a helping hand to get through this difficult time,” states Kathleen Hall.
That’s why Maid Brigade decided to volunteer their time to clean two homes per month for four consecutive months, free of charge.
Since 2006 Cleaning For A Reason has donated over 12,000 free cleanings to women battling cancer. The organization utilizes a network of over 1,000 residential cleaning services in the United States and Canada, which have donated over $3,200,000 worth of services.
