Local Owner Shares Mayor’s Proclamation for Cleaning For A Reason Week

SCRUB ‘N BUBBLES CLEANING IS HELPING CANCER PATIENTS
Treasure Valley, Idaho – April 23, 2019 – For the past six months, Scrub ‘N Bubbles Cleaning, LLC has teamed up with Cleaning For A Reason, an international nonprofit providing free cleaning services to households with cancer. Owner Renee Dickinson and Mayor Debbie Kling of Nampa are committed to bringing heightened awareness of the cause to the area. Mayor Kling has issued a proclamation declaring it National Cleaning For A Reason Week, April 18-24. The goal is to help more households battling any type of cancer.
“Three years ago, my mom and best friend, Myrna Wright, was sick for months with terminal cancer,” said Dickinson. “Mom was a meticulous housekeeper. I was grateful that I had cleaning crews to keep her home just the way she loved it during her battle. I was able to spend that priceless time with my mom. It was a precious gift to have my crews slip in, scrub and shine everything up, and hug us and quietly slip out. I get it. I know what it means when we clean for a cancer patient and their families. I see what it does for the crews who know they are making a true difference in a family’s life at this dark time. It is a blessing to me to have the opportunity to honor my Mom’s memory in this way.”
Scrub ‘N Bubbles Cleaning has agreed to help cancer patients by cleaning at least 2 homes per month for two consecutive months at no charge. The only requirement is that the homes be within the company’s existing service areas of Treasure Valley, Idaho (i.e., Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Star, Kuna, Nampa, and Caldwell).
