Local Business Offers Free Cleaning for Springfield Cancer Patients
Springfield, OR – January 15, 2026 – A local business is stepping up to support cancer patients in their community by offering free professional house cleanings. This initiative aims to alleviate the physical and emotional toll of cancer treatment.
Confident House Cleaning in Springfield is providing two consecutive months of service to two cancer patients each month. The goal is to offer meaningful relief during one of life’s most challenging battles.
“I actually have a grandma down in California who’s got stage four, it’s terminal course,” said Neil Guffey, co-founder of Confident House Cleaning. “And not being able to be there for her and help around the house my wife who’s my co-owner and co-partner in this company, she and I were talking and she brought to my attention that there’s a non-profit out there ‘Cleaning For A Reason’ allows us to go in there and provide some free services and help them out.”
Guffey expressed a strong desire to support those undergoing cancer treatment, acknowledging the widespread impact of the disease.
“It really made me wanna help the those around me. You know I’ve seen what happens after treatments. I think cancer has touched everybody’s life so everyone can relate to that. We can come in and really do the things that they obviously can’t do. And so it’s really a way to give something back to them,” said Guffey.
This service is available to patients in Eugene, Springfield, and surrounding communities, providing essential support to those in need.
