Legion of Clean AZ: A Trusted Partner to Cancer Patients for 5 Consecutive Years

LOCAL CLEANING COMPANY MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Phoenix, AZ – June 26, 2025 – Legion of Clean AZ continues to make a lasting impact in the lives of cancer patients. Since 2020, the company has partnered with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free home cleaning to cancer patients across the United States and Canada. To date, Legion of Clean AZ has supported 123 individuals battling cancer with donated cleanings valued at $57,843.

“It’s an incredible honor to have served cancer patients for the past five years and to be named a Top 10 Partner three years in a row,” said owner Stefani Hathaway. “Our team is deeply committed to showing up for cancer patients in our community. This recognition affirms our purpose and motivates us to continue. Every cleaning is an opportunity to offer peace of mind, dignity, and support during a difficult time.”
Hathaway’s personal connection fuels her dedication: “My grandmother, a two-time cancer survivor who passed away this spring of natural causes, taught me to care deeply for others. Supporting cancer patients through Cleaning for a Reason brings that value full circle and remains one of the most meaningful parts of our work.”
Legion of Clean AZ provides free home cleanings for up to nine cancer patients each month for two consecutive months. Service areas include Phoenix, Peoria, Glendale, Sun City, Sun City West, Surprise, El Mirage, Youngtown, and Vistancia.
Any individual with a cancer diagnosis—regardless of age, gender, or type of cancer—may apply for complimentary home cleaning by visiting cleaningforareason.org.
Cancer patient Lonia Green shared her experience with Legion of Clean AZ during a particularly challenging time in her life. As a mother of five battling leukemia and preparing to welcome her sixth child, Green found comfort and relief in the care provided by the cleaning team.
“I had the pleasure of two wonderful ladies from Legion of Clean who came to assist me with my home. The two ladies were not only proficient and efficient, but they also made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. I am incredibly grateful for this blessed opportunity. Working with Legion of Clean has been exceptional, and I plan to continue utilizing their services in the future. The owner of the business was welcoming and supportive, and the cleaning team was genuinely the sweetest. The deep clean I received was immensely helpful, providing me with a clean space to bring my newborn home amidst my cancer journey, all while making me feel cared for and welcomed.”
