NATIONAL CLEANING FOR A REASON WEEK, APRIL 18-24
Eldersburg, MD – April 20, 2020 – Immaculate Clean has been donating cleaning services to local cancer patients for 13 years through their partnership with nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason. Committed to helping, Immaculate Clean has supported 26 cancer patients, with a total donated value of $7,716 in cleanings.
Dawn Fiscella, President and Founder of Immaculate Clean, wants to bring heightened awareness of the cause to the area during Cleaning for a Reason Week, April 18-24. The goal is to help more households battling any type of cancer to receive the gift of a clean home.
“As an entrepreneur, it is near and dear to my heart that I give back to the community in which I live,” said Fiscella. “Surrounded by friends, neighbors, and loved ones who continue to face the toughest battle of their lives, Cleaning for a Reason is my path for giving back. I want to help ease the burden for those who must fight the fight.”
Fiscella emphasized, “During this COVID-19 crisis, we are proud, prepared, and equipped to do our part as an essential business. We have procedures in place to clean, sanitize, and disinfect responsibly. We are helping to make homes clean, healthy, and safe for our clients, especially the cancer patients. All staff are equipped with masks and gloves, hand sanitizer, and important microfiber cloths, while also practicing social distancing and using a Pre-entry to Home Screening questionnaire. Our new philosophy as we enter this new norm is ‘Cleaning for Health’ as we slow the cycle of the spread of infectious elements.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Immaculate Clean supports two homes per month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Carroll, Howard, and Baltimore County.
