Help Cleaning for a Reason Mop Up Cancer
Cleaning for a Reason, an ISSA Charities™ signature program that provides clean homes for cancer patients, has announced its first-ever Mopping Up Cancer fundraiser.
The inaugural event takes place Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 6 p.m-9 p.m. CT at 12 Cuts Brazilian Steakhouse in Dallas. Emmy award-winning local TV anchor Scott Murray will host the fundraiser, which includes an interview session with Dallas Cowboys fan favorites players Everson Walls, Doug Donley, and Timmy Newsome. Bill Wallace, CEO and founder of Success North Dallas, will kick off the event with a brief live auction.
“Cleaning for a Reason’s inaugural fundraiser is a great way to bring together the community in support of clean homes for cancer patients. These donated cleanings are a game changer in how families are coping day-to-day while battling cancer. A clean, safe, healthy home can be a respite from the uncertainty and effects of cancer,” said Cleaning for a Reason Operations Manager Lucy Lee. “We’re excited to share our stories of mopping up cancer. Friends like Scott Murray and some retired Dallas Cowboys are too.
