Good Witch Cleaning Services Making a Difference for Cancer Patients

GOOD WITCH CLEANING SERVICES JOINS A NONPROFIT
Junction City, KS – October 2, 2019 – Good Witch Cleaning Services, LLC has teamed up with Cleaning For A Reason, an international nonprofit serving cancer patients through free home cleanings. The owners Kirk Crabtree and Amber Starling have a mission to make a difference for families in their community and now want to extend that mission to include charitable cleans for households battling cancer.
Said Crabtree, “Both of my parents are cancer survivors. It’s such a hard thing to see someone go through. I’m glad that we can help make a difference for people in our community struggling with the same thing.”
“My experience isn’t as personal,” said Starling, “but I am still excited. We had a whole section in our certification class on cleaning for immunocompromised patients, like those affected by cancer. I’m eager to put that science into action for local families. Cleaning their home is an act of love that brings peace of mind and fills the heart. But more than that, being able to reduce the pathogens in their environment will give their bodies the space to heal.”
Through partnership with Cleaning For A Reason, Good Witch Cleaning Services assists cancer patients by cleaning two homes per month for two consecutive months free of charge. This will be an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Junction City, Manhattan, Fort Riley, Wamego, and Chapman.
