Glisten With Us Donates Home Cleanings to Cancer Patients

LOCAL COMPANY MAKING A DIFFERENCE DURING COVID-19
Bowling Green, KY – January 26, 2020 – Local company Glisten With Us has teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free house cleaning to cancer patients throughout the United States and Canada. Owner Melinda Korlat is committed to making a difference for families in the community and wants to extend their reach to helping cancer patients.
“The partnership with Cleaning for a Reason means very much to me,” said Koriat. “I want to sprinkle some sunshine into the life of someone who is fighting one of the hardest battles there is to fight. I am a single mom and understand the value of being supported. I’m also a bartender and this year has been so rough on service workers. It’s always been a dream of mine to own my own cleaning company and so I’m thrilled to pursue the dream, while helping those in need. During this coronavirus pandemic, we are especially focused on keeping homes and businesses safe and sanitized with the right cleaning solutions—especially for the cancer patients we will be serving.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Glisten With Us supports two cancer patients’ homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This will be an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Bowling Green and the surrounding areas.
