Dust to Sparkle Is Cleaning for Cancer Patients

LOCAL COMPANY MAKING A DIFFERENCE DURING COVID-19
Orlando, FL – January 27, 2021 – Dust to Sparkle, LLC is teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit serving cancer patients through free house cleanings. Owner Angela Misner is committed to making a difference for families in the community and wants to extend her reach to helping cancer patients.
“Joining Cleaning for a Reason is the perfect way to give back to my community,” said Misner. “I used to work in a nursing home and I also went to nursing school so it was always in my nature to help others. When the opportunity arose to donate cleanings to cancer patients, I knew immediately that I wanted to partner with this nonprofit. Within a week, I was cleaning for my first cancer patient. Using my passion and expertise for cleaning to help someone in need is the most satisfying and humbling thing I can do. I invite other maid services to also join me in helping cancer patients.”
In partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Dust to Sparkle has agreed to help cancer patients by cleaning two homes per month for two consecutive months at no charge. This will be an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Kissimmee and Orlando.
Misner emphasized, “When the COVID-19 pandemic started, our company lost 70 percent of our clientele. I decided to file an LLC for my business and use the extra time off to get my entire staff certified as house cleaners as well as certified for COVID-19 cleaning. We are committed to slowing the spread of infection and keeping our clients, staff, and community safe. Now more than ever, we believe that everyone deserves a clean, safe, and healthy home, especially the cancer patients we serve who may be immuno-compromised. We are following CDC guidelines to clean high touch areas with an EPA-approved disinfectant, to wear gloves, masks, and disposable booties in a home, and to socially distance when cleaning.”
