FreshLee Cleaning Co. Providing Gift of a Clean Home to Cancer Patients

Lee County, FL – August 2, 2024 – FreshLee Cleaning Co., LLC has teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free house cleaning to cancer patients throughout the United States and Canada. Carla Castro, owner of FreshLee Cleaning Co., understands the unique challenges cancer patients and their families face and the need for supportive services.
Castro shared, “I am a third generation professional house cleaner. My mom and I always had a dream of starting our own company. Unfortunately, in April of 2022, she was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer and passed away exactly 30 days later. As a way to honor my beautiful mother, I made the jump and started FreshLee Cleaning Co. My goal from day one was to donate cleanings to cancer patients or caretakers. Beyond thankful that Cleaning for a Reason allows me to do that!”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, FreshLee Cleaning Co. supports two cancer patients homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to patients residing in Lee County, including Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, Estero, and Bonita Springs.
Castro said, “We are raising support to help more cancer patients experience the comfort of a clean, healthy home. Contributions support the nonprofit’s mission, enabling them to reach more patients, partner with additional cleaning services, and expand their reach to more communities.”
