EASYWAY MAID SERVICE JOINS A NONPROFIT
Austin, TX – November 25, 2019 – Easyway Maid Service has teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, an international nonprofit serving cancer patients through free home cleaning. Owner and operator Dan Olin has a mission to make a difference for families in the community and is extending their reach to local cancer patients.
“Having a clean home can have a very positive effect on the mental wellbeing of cancer patients,” said Olin. “While I was with Austin EMS, I spent a lot of time in the homes of chronically ill people. Many of them weren’t able to take care of their living spaces due to their conditions, and you could tell how mentally taxing that was. I also lost my mother to lung cancer the same year I started Easyway. I saw how much she appreciated every bit of help she got from her friends and family around the house. Being able to provide cleaning services to those who may not have the ability or energy to do so is an honor.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Easyway Maid Service assists cancer patients by cleaning two homes per month for two consecutive months free of charge. This will be an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Austin.
