East Coast Cleaning Services Joins Nonprofit to Support Cancer Patients

Norfolk, VA – May 7, 2026 – East Coast Cleaning Services, LLC is proud to announce its partnership with the nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason, extending free home cleaning services to local cancer patients. Through this partnership, the company will help ease a practical burden for individuals and families navigating the physical and emotional challenges of cancer care.
“Partnering with Cleaning for a Reason is incredibly personal to me,” said Annie Miller, owner of East Coast Cleaning Services. “From a young age, I’ve always felt a strong pull to care for others. Years later, when someone close to me was going through cancer, I remember wanting to help in any way I could. Even something as simple as cleaning a home can bring a little relief during an overwhelming season. Being able to provide that kind of support through my business is deeply meaningful, and it’s an honor to serve families in our community when they need it most.”
Through this partnership, East Coast Cleaning Services provides two local cancer patients each month with two consecutive months of complimentary professional home cleaning services. These donated cleanings are available to residents in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Chesapeake, Virginia.
“As I’ve built East Coast Cleaning Services, I’ve had the privilege of serving incredible clients, including some who were also fighting cancer,” continued Miller. “They were kind, strong, and unforgettable, and they reminded me that this work is about so much more than cleaning—it’s about showing up for people when they need it most. Being able to provide that kind of relief through my business is important to me. I’m grateful to make this cause a part of the mission of my business.”
