Millbrook, NY – February 27, 2013 – A stone’s throw from the Big Apple in an area appealing to both residents and visitors a local cleaning company has partnered with Cleaning For A Reason, a nonprofit foundation to give back peace of mind to women battling cancer. Condos to Castles Cleaning & Home Projects are truly giving back by agreeing to clean the homes of two women once per month for four consecutive months free of charge. Their benevolence is helping to reduce the financial burden of these women and their family, when it’s needed most.
Upon notifying staff of our partnership, we received an eye opening reply from one of our maids, Trish, a cancer survivor, we didn’t know this” says owner, Dana Sukow. This owner recognized a bond that their employee Trish would have with women whose homes they will clean, “we have designated Trish to serve the patients in need of cleaning, she will offer a breath of hope,” says Sukow.
Since 2006 Cleaning For A Reason has donated over 12,000 free cleanings to women battling cancer. The organization utilizes a network of over 1,000 residential cleaning services in the United States and Canada, which have donated over $3,300,000 worth of services.
