Cancer Patients Can Rely on You’ve Got Maids of Cypress

Houston, TX – November 27, 2020 – You’ve Got Maids of Cypress has teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, an international nonprofit serving cancer patients through free home cleaning. Owners Marqela and Justin Goff understand the importance of offering much needed practical support to cancer patients that lifts their spirits and frees up their time and energy so that they can focus on healing.
“Cleaning for a Reason allows us to support cancer patients and their families that are going through something that touches all of us personally in some shape or form,” said Justin Goff. “My mother is a breast cancer survivor, which she was diagnosed with in 2012. Seeing her journey to recovery has made a lasting impression of how strong those going through the battle have to be. This partnership gives us an opportunity to support these fighters and hopefully makes someone’s day a little brighter.”
Emphasized Marqela Goff, “Germs are constantly evolving to environmental changes or immune response from the host. This means we need to stay on top of our cleaning for both our staff and our clients, especially the cancer patients who have a suppressed immune system. During this COVID-19 crisis, we are following CDC guidelines by wearing masks and gloves, using an EPA-approved disinfectant, and social distancing in a home.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, You’ve Got Maids of Cypress supports two cancer patients’ homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Cypress.
