LOCAL COMPANY MAKING A DIFFERENCE DURING COVID-19
Christiansburg, VA – August 31, 2020 – Coach Clean has teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free house cleaning to cancer patients throughout the United States and Canada. Owner and Head Coach John Balser is passionate about giving back to the community and is eager to make a difference for cancer patients and their families.
“We love our community and want to give back as much as we can,” said Balser. “Cleaning for cancer patients really touched my heart. We want to help people by making sure they have a clean and sanitized home to help them continue their battle with cancer. Our goal is to not only clean for them, but also to let them know their community is by their side and ready to help. During this COVID-19 crisis, we are following CDC guidelines to protect all of our clients, especially the cancer patients we serve, and our staff. We are using an EPA-approved disinfectant, wearing masks and gloves, and practicing social distancing when inside a home.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Coach Clean supports two homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Roanoke, the New River Valley, and surrounding areas.
