Canadiana Property Services Joins Nonprofit to Support Cancer Patients

LOCAL CLEANING COMPANY MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Summerland, BC, Canada – December 19, 2025 – In a heartfelt move to support those battling cancer, Canadiana Property Services, owned by Mandie Deptuck and operated alongside her husband Drew, is proud to announce a new partnership with Cleaning for a Reason. As part of this initiative, the company will provide two free cleanings each month for cancer patients undergoing treatment, following surgery, or in hospice care — a gesture born out of compassion, community commitment, and deep personal connection.
This initiative is deeply personal to both Mandie and Drew Deptuck, inspired by the memory of their dear friend, Jay Lloyd, who passed away from cancer earlier this year at the age of 52. Jay was not only a cherished friend but also a mentor and inspiration to many. His partner of 22 years was by his side throughout his journey, acting as a caregiver and attending numerous appointments, which took a significant emotional and physical toll. This initiative also aims to provide much-needed moments of respite and self-care for caregivers, acknowledging the vital role they play and the support they deserve.
“Our team at Canadiana Property Services is truly honoured to partner with Cleaning for a Reason,” says Mandie Deptuck. “We care deeply about our community and being able to offer something that brings even a little light, comfort, or relief means everything to us. Our hope is that these cleanings help lift spirits, brighten days, and give both patients and caregivers a moment to breathe. It’s our way of honouring Jay’s legacy and giving back to the amazing people who make our community so special.”
