Bright Side Services Offers Cleaning Support to Cancer Patients

LOCAL COMPANY MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Tavares, FL – May 19, 2022 – Bright Side Services, Inc. has partnered with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free home cleaning to cancer patients. Owners Michelle and Mike Krueger are committed to making a difference for families in the community and want to extend their reach to helping cancer patients.
“I donate cleanings to cancer patients in tribute to two amazing people, Judy Weikel and John Brian Kaup,” said Michelle Krueger. “Judy was an amazing cheerleader for me for the first two years of my business. She bragged about my new company to whomever would listen. I recall telling her one day that I was worried about not having work on Wednesday’s schedule. In her calm, comforting voice, she said, ‘Don’t worry about that right now. There will come a day when you wish you had a Wednesday without work! She was so right. I was blessed with her encouragement until she passed, two years later.”
“John is a phenomenal cleaning business owner I met through a coaching group. He balances family and business ownership with grace. And as if that isn’t enough, he always makes time to help others, especially fellow business owners, in the most positive and motivational way. Within the last year, John learned he had cancer. Still, like Judy, he continued to serve according to his heart, always putting others first. Thankfully, John won his battle.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Bright Side Services supports two cancer patients’ homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to patients residing in Tavares, Mt. Dora, Eustis, Leesburg, Howey in the Hills, and Yalaha.
“When I learned about Cleaning for a Reason, I knew it was something we needed to do,” said Michelle Krueger. “When you have loved ones with cancer, you just want to help but sometimes you don’t know how or what to do. In memory of Judy and John, I cannot wait to help brighten the homes and spirits of cancer patients in our community, to make a direct impact in their lives in such a practical and necessary way.”
