Winnipeg, MB – February 27, 2024 – AXL Cleaning Service has joined forces with Cleaning for a Reason, a non-profit organization that offers free house cleaning services to cancer patients across the United States and Canada. Owner Alyssa Erika Bancod recognizes the profound impact of cancer on an individual’s life and is dedicated to supporting and assisting those in need.
Shared Bancod, “The mission of supporting cancer patients by offering free home cleaning resonates deeply with me. In 2017, my grandmother battled stage 4 lung cancer, and I witnessed the immense toll cancer takes on patients and their loved ones. I realized the impact a clean home can have on their overall well-being and sense of comfort. This experience fuels my desire to donate our time to help other cancer patients and their families navigate these hardships. It’s our way of providing a helping hand during tough moments and offering a source of relief amidst their courageous battles.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, AXL Cleaning Service supports two cancer patients homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service available to patients residing in Winnipeg.
