LOCAL COMPANY MAKING A DIFFERENCE DURING COVID-19
Orlando, FL – July 8, 2020 – During the past six months, Army of Maids has donated cleaning services to four local cancer patients through their partnership with nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason. Owner Marcelo Ruiz is committed to making a difference for families in the community and wants to extend their reach to helping more cancer patients.
“Cleaning for a Reason is a way for us to give back to our community,” said Ruiz. “We all know the emotional and physical struggle of undergoing cancer treatment, while also trying to manage a home. It’s our privilege to support cancer patients in their hour of need.”
Kim Willis, Army of Maids office manager, said, “During this COVID-19 crisis, we are taking extra measures to keep everyone safe, especially the cancer patients. Our company follows CDC guidelines of using EPA approved products; wearing face masks, gloves, and booties; and practicing social distancing when cleaning in a home.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Army of Maids supports two homes per month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Orlando, Maitland, Goldenrod, Casselberry, Altamonte Springs, Winter Springs, Winter Park, and Clarcona.
About Army of Maids
Launched in 2016, Army of Maids uses trained maids and only 100 percent eco-friendly home cleaning products. The company offers three different cleaning options: move in/out cleaning; first and deep clean; and recurring cleaning, reserved for those that join the Army of Maids family and sign up for recurring services—the same quality cleanings heavily discounted at 40 to 50 percent off, with super flexibility and no contracts required.
Army of Maids offers a unique 200 percent guarantee, where they will clean a home, and if the client isn’t satisfied with the cleaning, they will offer a free home cleaning. But it doesn’t end there… if the client is still not satisfied with the cleaning, the company will refund the client’s money. Period. For more information, see armyofmaids.com.
