LOCAL CLEANING COMPANY MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Franklin, Ohio – July 13, 2026 – DGS Janitorial, LLC, a residential and commercial cleaning company, is proud to announce its partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit dedicated to providing free home cleaning services to cancer patients.
Owner Deidra Freeze was inspired to rejoin the nonprofit following a deeply personal experience. Freeze had originally partnered with Cleaning for a Reason several years ago, but before she could begin serving patients, her 19-year-old daughter, Shyla, was diagnosed with leukemia. At that time, she made the difficult decision to step away from both the partnership and her business to care for her daughter full-time.
“Shyla needed me, and I was grateful I could be there for her through one of the most difficult seasons of our lives,” said Freeze. “Today, she is cancer-free and doing wonderfully, and we are filled with gratitude for her recovery. I had already felt a calling to serve cancer patients through providing clean homes before her diagnosis, but going through that journey with my own daughter made that purpose even more personal. It deepened my understanding of what families are facing and strengthened my commitment to walk alongside others in those same hard moments, offering care, comfort, and support in a very real way.”
Through this partnership, DGS Janitorial will provide two local cancer patients each month with two consecutive months of complimentary professional home cleaning. These services will be available to residents throughout Warren County, helping ease the burden of maintaining a home during treatment and recovery so patients can focus on their health and well-being.
