This nonprofit organization offers free house cleaning to cancer patients undergoing treatment, surgery, or in hospice care across the United States and Canada. Owner Catherine Parker has a personal and heartfelt connection to the cause, which further underscores her dedication to supporting cancer patients in their time of need.
“When I discovered Cleaning for a Reason, I knew I had to be part of it,” said Parker. “My aunt Linda’s battle with breast cancer deeply impacted me. Before she passed, she gifted me a quilt with hearts and double-sided arrows, symbolizing the importance of giving in life. I want to honor her legacy by supporting local cancer patients. Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Cleaning & Concierge by Catherine supports two cancer patients homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Phenix City, AL, and Columbus, GA.
