LOCAL COMPANY CELEBRATING CLEANING FOR A REASON WEEK
Jacksonville, Florida – April 24, 2019 – For the past six months, Jewel’s Gems Cleaning Service, Inc. has been teamed up with Cleaning For A Reason, an international nonprofit providing free cleaning services to households with cancer. Owners Julie and Marc Myers are committed to bringing heightened awareness of the cause to the area during Cleaning For A Reason Week, April 18-24. The goal is to help more households battling any type of cancer.
“I was an RN for five years and I worked as a hospice nurse for three years,” said Julie Myers. “I have seen the need for services for patients and families battling cancer, not only for cleaning, but for many other things we take for granted every day. After meeting the founder of Cleaning For A Reason at a training class, I knew that my company would be a partner. In our past six months of partnership, we have already helped six cancer patients in their hour of need.”
Jewel’s Gems Cleaning Service has agreed to help cancer patients by cleaning at least two homes per month for two consecutive months at no charge. The only requirement is that the homes be within their service territory of Jacksonville and the surrounding areas.
