Thibodaux, LA – September 15, 2020 – You’ve Got Maids of Thibodaux has teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free house cleaning to cancer patients throughout the United States and Canada. Owners Jacob and Michele Broussard understand the importance of a clean environment when undergoing illness and are committed to making a difference for cancer patients and their families.
“This cause hits close to home after losing my stepdad to cancer a few years ago,” said Jacob Broussard. “If we can relieve at least a little stress off the families affected by cancer, it is well worth the time and effort.”
Said Michele Broussard, “During this COVID-19 crisis, we are also following CDC guidelines to socially distance when in a home, to wear masks and gloves, and to use an EPA-approved disinfectant. Keeping clients and our staff safe is our priority.”
You’ve Got Maids of Thibodaux has agreed to help cancer patients by cleaning two homes per month for two consecutive months free of charge. This will be an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Terrebonne and Lafourche Parishes all the way up to Laplace.
