Triple Shine Clean Donates Reliable House Cleaning for Cancer Patients

Millstadt, IL – April 27, 2023 – Triple Shine Cleaning Service, LLC has partnered with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free home cleaning to cancer patients. Owner Julie Maul is deeply commited to making a positive impact in the lives of families in the community, particularly those affected by cancer, due to her own family’s experience with this disease.
“Having received help and support from the community during my son’s battle with cancer, it is a privilege for me to now be in a position to give back,” said Maul. “My son Aiden was diagnosed with Stage 3 Wilms Kidney cancer at age five. After surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy, he was declared cancer-free, but the cancer returned and metastasized. More surgery and aggressive treatment followed, leaving him with lifelong damage, including Stage 2 kidney disease in his remaining kidney, as well as heart damage. After relearning his fine and gross motor skills, Aiden still sees doctors every three to six months. Turning 16 this year, Aiden is my hero.”
Maul continued, “Throughout our journey, we received help, including housekeeping and laundry assistance. Now with my business growing, I want to give back in any way I can. I understand the importance of a clean environment for cancer patients, who often have weakened immune systems and low energy levels. If I can help make life easier for a cancer patient and their family, I will be closer to doing my part in this world and fulfilling my goal of giving back to those in need.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Triple Shine Cleaning Service supports two cancer patients homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to patients residing in Millstadt, Columbia, Valmeyer, Waterloo, Red Bud, O’Fallon, and Dupo.

Owner Julie Maul started Triple Shine Cleaning Service, a residential and commercial cleaning service, in 2009, shortly after the birth of her son and returning to school for a better life. The company offers one-time and recurring cleanings, as well as move-in/out services for residential cleaning. In 2012, Maul’s son was diagnosed with cancer, leading her to continue cleaning instead of pursuing a career in teaching due to the financial strain of their situation. After several years of focusing on her son’s health, she made the decision to grow her business with the goal of giving back to the community.
