T.L.C. Home Services Celebrates Three Years of Supporting Cancer Patients

Sturbridge, MA – September 25, 2025 – This past summer, T.L.C. Home Services celebrated three years of making a difference in the community through its partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit that provides free house cleaning services to cancer patients.
Since partnering with the nonprofit in 2022, T.L.C. Home Services has donated cleanings to 38 local cancer patients, a contribution valued at $15,245. Its dedication has earned the company recognition as a Top 100 Partner in both 2023 and 2024, honoring its service to one of the highest numbers of patients in the program nationwide.

“Every time we walk out of a home after cleaning for a cancer patient, we know we’ve made a meaningful difference. As a daughter of parents and a family member to loved ones who have both survived and been lost to cancer, I know the emotional and physical toll it brings. Patients echo the impact of these services. “I applied to Cleaning for a Reason after seeing the flyer at the Cancer House of Hope. They kindly gifted me two cleanings which were done by Heather who works for T.L.C Home Services. Heather was very kind, polite, and did an absolutely amazing job! I am truly grateful for this service and for Heather’s hard work,” said patient Katie McQuaid.
In partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, T.L.C. Home Services serves two cancer patients’ homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This ongoing service is available to cancer patients residing in Spencer, Charlton, Oxford, Webster, Dudley, Southbridge, Sturbridge, Holland, Wales, Brimfield, Warren, Brookfield, East Brookfield, West Brookfield, North Brookfield, and Leicester.
