Shorely Clean Brings a Wave of Support to Cancer Patients

Monmouth County, NJ – November 25, 2025 – Shorely Clean is proud to announce its new partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free home cleanings to cancer patients across the United States and Canada. Reflecting the same commitment to “going the distance” that fuels his passion for fitness, owner Dan Kats is dedicated to supporting families facing cancer with care, reliability, and a spirit of service.
“I learned about Cleaning for a Reason after attending the Home Service Academy conference earlier this month in Dallas,” said Dan Kats, owner of Shorely Clean. “Not only did I meet other like-minded entrepreneurs, but I also connected directly with Debbie Sardone, founder of Cleaning for a Reason, and Lucy Lee, Program Manager. Hearing firsthand how the program operates, the impact it has on families, and the growing need for more cleaning partners made the mission feel incredibly real. Having had family impacted by cancer and understanding the toll it takes on both individuals and the community, joining this cause became an easy and meaningful decision. I’m excited to give back through what we already do best—cleaning.”
Through this partnership, Shorely Clean will support two cancer patients each month, offering complimentary home cleanings for two consecutive months to help lighten the load for individuals undergoing treatment.
Cancer patients—of any age, gender, or type of cancer—who reside in Monmouth County may apply for free home cleaning services at cleaningforareason.org/patients.
