Rise and Shine Cleaning Service Celebrates 5 Years of Helping Cancer Patients
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LOCAL COMPANY COMMITTED TO CHARITABLE CLEANING
Portland, OR – July 3, 2019 – Since 2014, Rise and Shine Cleaning Service has been teamed up with Cleaning For A Reason, an international nonprofit serving cancer patients through free house cleaning. Owners Debbie and Eric Emms are committed to making a difference for families in need in the community. For the past five years, the company has generously donated more than $5,000 worth of house cleanings.
“Having watched a parent suffer with cancer for years and eventually lose the battle, we know how simple daily tasks can become unbearable,” said Eric Emms. “Our entire staff is honored to donate the gift of a clean home to those fighting for their life.”
Through partnership with Cleaning For A Reason, Rise and Shine Cleaning Service assists cancer patients by cleaning four homes per month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Beaverton, Portland metro, Tigard, Hillsboro, and Lake Oswego, Oregon; as well as Camas, Vancouver and Washougal, Washington.
“This cause is close to our hearts. We are passionate about making a difference for these brave individuals as we know the difficulties they face fighting cancer,” said Debbie Emms.
