MERRY MAIDS OF JACKSONVILLE JOINS A NONPROFIT
Jacksonville, Florida – November 8, 2016 – Merry Maids of Jacksonville is a family-owned residential franchise for 21 years that has teamed up with Cleaning For A Reason, an international nonprofit serving women battling cancer. Merry Maids of Jacksonville is dedicated to giving their clients a thorough, consistent, and customized clean so that they can feel less stressed in their home, loft, condo, or townhouse. This particular franchise location is also a winner of the Dallen Peterson Award, which is the highest Merry Maids honor.
“We believe in giving back to our community,” stated owner Garret Weigel. “This partnership with Cleaning For A Reason holds a special meaning to me considering my father and brother are both cancer survivors. Cancer is hard enough. These patients need to focus on their health and family, not on cleaning their homes.”
Merry Maids of Jacksonville has agreed to help women battling cancer by cleaning two homes per month for four consecutive months at no charge. The only requirement is that the homes be within the company’s existing service areas of Jacksonville, Middleburg, Orange Park, Ponte Vedra, Ponte Vedra Beach, and Saint Johns. In partnership with maid services throughout the United States and Canada, Cleaning For A Reason is celebrating 10 years of dedicated service to women battling cancer by Making A Difference One Home At A Time™. Together, these two forces offer free house cleaning to meet the needs of women, and since 2006, have donated more than $6 million in free services, helping more than 23,000 women with cancer. Based in Lewisville, TX, Cleaning For A Reason works with more than 1,200 professional cleaning companies and continues to grow and gain support.
