Maid Bright Continues to Clean for Cancer Patients

Sterling, Virginia – August 6, 2019 – A local house cleaning company continues to make a difference for cancer patients in the area. Maid Bright, Inc. has partnered for seven years with Cleaning For A Reason, a nonprofit serving cancer patients through free home cleaning. Since 2012, Maid Bright has donated services to 20 cancer patients, totaling 65 cleanings valued at $9,199, through their partnership with the nonprofit.
Understanding the importance of a clean environment while patients undergo treatment, owner Yusuf Mehmetoglu wants to make a difference for households in the community that have loved ones fighting cancer.
“Our partnership with Cleaning For A Reason is an opportunity to assist cancer patients during difficult times and ease their burden while going through treatments,” stated Mehmetoglu. “Through our partnership, we can exemplify to others that there is always time and a way to help your community and those in need. It is important that cancer patients focus on their health and families. Maid Bright is honored to have given the gift of a clean home to cancer patients in our community in the past seven years. We look forward to helping many more patients in the years to come.”
Maid Bright has agreed to help cancer patients by cleaning three homes per month for two consecutive months at no charge. The only requirement is that the homes be within the company’s existing service areas of Northern Virginia, D.C., and Maryland.
