Fallston, MD – October 16, 2019 – Cornerstone Cleaning is holding its 1st Annual Benefit on Friday, October 18, for Cleaning for a Reason, the nonprofit serving cancer patients through free home cleanings. With a passion for helping families, Cornerstone Cleaning has partnered with the nonprofit since 2014 and is committed to helping cancer patients receive the gift of a clean home.

“We are raising funds for Cleaning for a Reason, a cause close to our hearts,” said owner Beth Derickson. “Cleaning for cancer patients is a meaningful part of our business. When you are in treatment, this type of practical help is so needed and appreciated. Patients and their families have more than enough on their hands dealing with treatment and everything that comes with a cancer diagnosis. We are thrilled to focus on their homes, while they focus on recovery.”

The Friday event on October 18, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., comprises a Wine & Dine, Mix & Mingle at the Dejon Vineyard at 5300 Hydes Rd, Hydes, MD 21082. There will be live music by Don’t Stop and catering by Fast Eddies. The $50 ticket price includes a wine tasting of DeJon Vineyards 12 wines. Cash wine bar thereafter. Must be 21 or over to attend. Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Cornerstone Cleaning assists cancer patients by cleaning two homes per month for two consecutive months free of charge. This will be an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Harford and Baltimore Counties. Since 2014, Cornerstone Cleaning has donated cleanings to 26 cancer patients with a donated value of $10,146 in cleanings.
