Newark, NJ – July 7, 2025 – Home Sweet Home Cleaning Services, LLC, a family-owned and operated cleaning company based in New Jersey, is proud to announce its new partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit organization providing free home cleaning services to cancer patients across the United States and Canada.
“As someone who’s always believed in giving back, this partnership is deeply personal,” said Christine Silva, Owner of Home Sweet Home Cleaning Services. “In 2024, one of my closest friends was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I was by his side during his final months, witnessing firsthand the emotional and physical toll of the disease. That experience changed me. Joining Cleaning for a Reason in his memory allows me to use my skills and resources to bring comfort to others. It’s truly a gift to serve in this way.”
As part of this initiative, Home Sweet Home Cleaning Services will donate cleanings to two cancer patients each month for two consecutive months—completely free of charge. Services will be available to eligible patients residing in Hudson County, Essex County, Morris County, and Union County.
Through this partnership, the team is extending its impact by offering the gift of a clean home to those facing one of life’s toughest battles.
