Dusting Off Cancer: Cleaning for a Reason with Just Dust Cleaning

Savannah, GA – August 1, 2023 – Just Dust Cleaning, LLC has teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free house cleaning to cancer patients across the United States and Canada. Owner Andrea Blake sees this collaboration as the perfect opportunity to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients in need.
Blake shares, “Seventeen years ago, cancer entered my life when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, leaving me feeling utterly helpless. Moving forward to today, cancer has hit close to home once again. I wish there was something I could do. I’ve always heard about people giving back but it never really registered until I learned about Cleaning for a Reason. Knowing that I can make a difference, even in the smallest way, by cleaning a kitchen or a bathroom for a patient battling cancer, fills me with a profound sense of personal and professional fulfillment. I feel blessed being able to remove at least one burden for a cancer patient.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Just Dust Cleaning supports two cancer patients homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Savannah, Garden City, Pooler, Port Wentworth, Tybee, Thunderbolt, and Richmond Hill.
Just Dust Cleaning is also fundraising for the nonprofit and is accepting donations at bit.ly/454btna to help more cancer patients receive the gift of a clean home.
