Cleaning for a Reason Welcomes You’ve Got Maids as First Corporate Franchise Partner
July 13, 2022 – Cleaning for a Reason, an ISSA Charities™ signature program that provides clean homes for cancer patients, today announced it is collaborating with You’ve Got Maids to elevate its services and bring relief to more people experiencing cancer. As Cleaning for a Reason’s first corporate franchise partner, You’ve Got Maids has dedicated itself to expanding the company’s work by endorsing new franchisees and raising awareness of the mission through marketing activities, social media, and events.

To date, individual locations have contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of service through Cleaning for a Reason and elevating to a brand wide collaboration is a great next step for both organizations,” said You’ve Got Maids President Joseph Berger. “We hope to be able to further support the mission of providing free home cleaning to patients battling cancer.”
You’ve Got Maids is in its second decade of franchising and currently operates dozens of locations across 18 states. Since the start of the partnership, it has donated more than US$270,000 by performing over 1,600 free house cleanings for cancer patients. The company ensures the highest quality services, as each maid is thoroughly screened through a rigorous recruitment process and completes Maid University™ training. It is also committed to using eco-friendly cleaning products and systems that are healthy for cancer patients, their families, and the environment.
Berger understands how challenging simple tasks like cleaning can be for cancer patients, as he has experienced more than one diagnosis in his family. He encourages You’ve Got Maids franchisees and other industry leaders to partner with Cleaning for a Reason to help make a difference in communities across the nation.
