Cleaning for a Reason Promotes Additional Support for Cancer Patients

CANCER SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS PARTNER FOR A BIGGER IMPACT
Lewisville, TX – May 10, 2021 – Cleaning for a Reason, an ISSA Charities™ signature program that provides clean homes for cancer patients, is pleased to announce a partnership with Mend Together, an online social platform offering free tools to make it easier to support someone after a cancer diagnosis. The nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason is focused on providing free house cleaning for cancer patients and regards this partnership as a way to provide more emotional, social, and physical support to cancer patients.
“A partnership like this allows us to promote our respective services to each other’s clients, ultimately better serving the community of cancer patients as they undergo treatment,” said Sandy Wolfrum, Director of Development for ISSA Charities. “Mend Together offers wonderful services that share our values of support at a time when it is most needed. Mend Together offers a Community Journal that keeps everyone updated and able to offer timely encouragement, a Volunteer Calendar that makes organizing support easy, and a Gift & Cash Registry that enables loved ones to send healing gifts or financial support.
With Mend Together, cancer patients or their caregivers can register for over 300 healing products, services, and cash funds, as well as send updates to loved ones. Friends and family can organize support and send encouraging words, donate time, choose a gift to send, or simply contribute funds.
