Cleaning for a Reason Month Declared in Clarksville, TN

Clarksville, TN – April 17, 2026 – Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts issued a proclamation recognizing ‘National Cleaning for a Reason’ Month at Mugsy’s coffee on Wednesday, April 1.
Mayor Joe Pitts proclaimed April National Cleaning for a Reason Month. A copy of the proclamation was presented to Christina and Stevie Cowart; owners of Your Happy House Cleaner, a local, veteran-owned home-cleaning business that has served Clarksville for 10 years.
Christina and Stevie partner with Cleaning for a Reason, a Texas-based charity that, for the past 20 years, has helped ease the burden for individuals undergoing cancer treatment by providing free home cleanings. Each patient who signs up gets two months of cleanings to help keep their home clean and peaceful as they undergo treatment.
