Cleaning for a Reason Debuts Impact Legacy Award at ISSA Show NA

Rosemont, Ill – November 29, 2023 – Cleaning for a Reason, an ISSA Charities signature program dedicated to providing free house cleanings for cancer patients, announced its inaugural Impact Legacy Award during the Residential Cleaning Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, November 15. The ceremony was at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, in conjunction with ISSA Show North America. This award specifically honors organizations with outstanding partnerships spanning over a decade, highlighting their remarkable commitment and contribution to Cleaning for a Reason.
“Since its inception in 2006, Cleaning for a Reason has been dedicated to acknowledging our cleaning partners’ invaluable support in alleviating the burden of house cleaning for cancer patients,” shared Sandy Wolfrum, ISSA Charities Director of Development. “This year marks the introduction of our annual Impact Legacy award, recognizing our partners’ enduring support. Their unwavering commitment showcases the profound impact of compassionate partnerships on those battling cancer and their communities. We eagerly anticipate honoring many more outstanding partners in the coming years for their remarkable contributions to our cause.”
The 2023 Impact Legacy Award winners are as follows:
- Buckets & Bows Maid Service of Lewisville, TX, owner Debbie Sardone, served 382 cancer patients since 2008
- Maids & Moore of Austin, TX, owner Holly Moore, served 369 cancer patients since 2008
- Rag Mops Cleaning Service, Inc. of Lewisville, TX, owner Debi Bascue, served 151 cancer patients since 2010
- ecomaids of Portland, OR, owner Lindsay Dellasega, served 67 cancer patients since 2010
- The Maid Connection of Tucson, AZ, owner Michele Grosso, served 98 cancer patients since 2011
